Red Blood Cells
Red blood cells have a biconcave disk shape, lack nuclei and other organelles, and contain hemoglobin. Their main function is to transport oxygen and other nutrients to all parts of the body. However, they also play a role in getting rid of bodily wastes, such as carbon dioxide.
